For the 29th iteration of the successful Air Jordan franchise, Royale was tasked with telling the story of how the new XX9 shoe is woven unlike any other woven shoe on the market. My role was Lead Nuke Compositor and I focused on the most of the beauty CG shoe shots. The woven technique used for the tapestry in this spot was a mix of Maya and Nuke elements and created by the great Brinton Jaecks.
As Lead Compositor, I was also in charge of keeping things moving forward in the compositing department. Fixing any technical issues that may arise, collaborating and communicating with CG Leads, ADs, CDs to ensure everything was delivered on time.
